Our philosophy is simple

The Yoga Locker started with a simple vision of creating quality yoga mats and accessories featuring hand printed, stunning original art and designs.

As well as being highly functional in performance and comfort we wanted our mats, props and clothing to stand out with extraordinary designs inspirited by nature, our yoga community and talented artists.

You’ll find beautifully printed mats and accessories that encourage you to reflect who you are. Mother. Lover. Seeker. Explorer. Every time you step on the mat, we invite you to be completely yourself. To experience your journey, your way.

What about our mats?

Print quality

Water-based inks produce a vibrant print and longer-lasting image. Our inks are free of harmful chemicals making them safer for the environment and sensitive skin

Suede microfibre or renewable cork

We use renewable cork and biodegradable microfibre. Non-slip cork and grippy microfibre mats can be used for Pilates, gym workouts, and meditation.

Natural rubber base

The 4mm natural rubber base is thick enough to cushion your knees and hands, but light enough to tote to class with ease.

Our impact

We wanted to create products that are sustainable and made to last. We don’t believe in making more landfill!

We strive to bring you quality products with the least possible impact on the environment. We use naturally sourced cork and tree rubber for our mats, water-based inks, natural fibres and organic cottons in our clothing and avoid single-use plastics. We even use paper-based gummy tape on our packaging – little things matter.

Each day at The Yoga Locker HQ, we try to improve our operations and lessen our environmental impact. We print to order to avoid waste, we re-use and recycle, and use recycled raw materials whenever we can.

We know that the efforts of one business can make a difference to the world and folk everywhere. We’re deeply invested in our local community, with roots spread widely in the Redlands area.

The Yoga Locker collaborates with businesses, organisations, artists and creatives to develop real opportunities and give-back.
